Update on journey

The traffic is flowing a lot better than expected for the day before a bank holiday long weekend.

Which means we should arrive back slightly earlier.  The new time of arrival is now 3pm.

Lunch

An enjoyable couple of hours swimming at Breakland Leisure Centre & Waterworks.

Sitting on the grass now having lunch before setting off back to Essex.

Goodbye Eaton Vale

It's been a busy morning.  Breakfast, packed lunches, cleaning and packing.

Also been time to do 'Final Thoughts' for the DVD and visit the campsite shop.

The kit is all loaded now and we are heading to the swimming pool.

We will update the blog and twitter @silverendscouts when we leave the pool with an ETA of arrival time in Silver End.  Still planning to be home at 3:30pm.

Nearly all over

We have finished the last night party and now settling with a movie.  All that's left to do tomorrow is pack, clean, awards and then swimming on the way home.

Last night

We are having our last night mocktail party. Scouts are dressing up, leaders are working 'the bar' and some party music.

Meal out

Our traditional last night meal out at camp this evening.  We are enjoying a sit down meal at Frankie and Benny's.

Still at Pleasurewood Hills

Still enjoying our day at Pleasurewood Hills. The Scouts are going around in small groups and doing the rides they want to do. Got about 45 mins left before we meet up to set off to the restaurant.
